Depart for Cai Be (~2.5 hours drive). 10:30 – Arrive in Cai Be. • Board a boat and explore the Mekong River. • Visit the ancient church of Cai Be. • Cruise through small canals under shaded mangrove trees. • Stop at local orchards to taste fresh tropical fruits while enjoying traditional Southern folk music. 12:00 – Continue to Tan Phong Island. • Start a biking trip through village paths. • Discover local daily life: orchards, schools, pagodas, and traditional houses. • Visit local workshops to see how villagers make products from water hyacinth (baskets, bags, hats, etc.). 13:00 – Lunch served at a local homestay on An Binh Island. 14:30 – Visit Ut Trinh / Ut Quynh / Ut Binh homestay. • Walk or bike around the village. • Visit local workshops: rice paper, coconut candy, popped rice. • Enjoy tea and homemade sweets. 17:30 – Join the host family to prepare dinner. • Learn to cook traditional Vietnamese dishes. 19:00 – Dinner and overnight at homestay.
