The Government has decided to expand visa-exemption policy for foreigners to boost socio-economic development, according to Decree No. 221/ND-CP issued on Friday.

🌏Since 15 August 2025, citizens of 12 countries can enter Vietnam without a visa for tourism purposes:
Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland.
Already visa-free before 15 Aug:
14 days – Brunei, Myanmar
21 days – The Philippines
30 days – Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Kyrgyzstan
45 days – Japan, South Korea, Belarus, Denmark, Italy, Finland, France, Germany, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom
Applicable for entries between 15 Aug 2025 – 14 Aug 2028 under the Tourism Promotion Program.
✨ SPECIAL VISA EXEMPTION (Decree 221/2025/NĐ-CP) (up to 5 years) available for VIP guests – scholars, scientists, major investors, cultural icons, and more.
