Ho Chi Minh City, January 30, 2026 – Saigontourist Travel held a strategic working session with the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) in Vietnam at its headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City, marking an important step in strengthening bilateral tourism cooperation between Korea and Vietnam in 2026, with a strong focus on inbound travel and the MICE segment.

During the meeting, Ms. Park Eun Jung, Chief Representative of KTO in Vietnam, reaffirmed KTO’s commitment to expanding collaboration with Saigontourist Travel across key market segments, including leisure travel, group tours, and high-value MICE programs. Both parties emphasized the growing potential of Korean inbound visitors to Vietnam as well as Vietnamese outbound and corporate travel to Korea.
The discussion centered on strategic priorities for 2026, including updated MICE policies, joint initiatives to develop innovative tourism products, enhanced promotion of Jeju Island as a premium destination, and the organization of the Korea Tourism Product Design Contest 2026. These initiatives aim to diversify travel experiences and strengthen Korea’s appeal to Vietnamese travelers, while also unlocking new opportunities for Korean visitors and corporate groups exploring Vietnam.

Saigontourist Travel highlighted its ambition to further expand inbound and MICE flows between the two countries through tailored itineraries, experiential products, and integrated services designed for international travelers and corporate clients. With Korea remaining one of Vietnam’s most important tourism markets, the partnership is expected to generate new momentum for bilateral tourism growth in 2026 and beyond.
