DAY 1: SAIGON . Embarkation in Saigon – Entering the Mekong

Around 10:00–11:00 AM, you’ll be picked up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and transferred to the Mekong Princess at Saigon Port. After embarkation and a safety briefing, enjoy lunch while cruising through the Saigon, Soai Rap, Nuoc Man, Vam Co, and Cho Gao waterways. Settle into your suite and watch the changing scenery along the river. In the evening, anchor in the Mekong Delta, sip cocktails at sunset, and enjoy a Vietnamese à la carte dinner onboard.

DAY 2: BEN TRE – CAN THO . Tranquil Waterways of Ben Tre & Arrival in Can Tho

Begin the day with a sampan ride through mangrove-lined canals, visit a coconut candy workshop, then walk through a fruit orchard and take a small boat through narrow creeks. In the afternoon, sail toward Can Tho. Visit Chua Ong Pagoda and enjoy a unicorn dance show. The ship docks overnight in Can Tho. Onboard activity: Lecture on Vietnam’s people, culture, and colonial history.

DAY 3: CAN THO – HOA AN . Floating Market Wonders & Rural Life in Hoa An

Early morning, visit Cai Rang Floating Market, where boats trade fresh produce. Sample fruit and coconut water, then visit a local noodle factory. After lunch, explore Hoa An village by motor cart and sampan. Visit rice fields, fruit orchards, and observe rice milling operations. End the visit at a family home making conical hats, where you can try hands-on crafting. The ship anchors near Gieng Island.

DAY 4: GIENG ISLAND – HONG NGU . Island Craftsmanship & Khmer Traditions near the Border

In the morning, take a sampan to Gieng Island, visit a sampan-making village, cruise past mango gardens, and ride a xe lôi to Phanxico Monastery. In the afternoon, explore Hong Ngu village near the Vietnam–Cambodia border, known for weaving traditional Khmer scarves and embroidery. Also visit the Hoa Hao temple. Onboard activity: Vietnamese cooking class demonstration. Ship proceeds to the border.

DAY 5: PHNOM PENH – BORDER CROSSING, DISEMBARKATION . Into Cambodia – The Charm of Phnom Penh

This morning, Mekong Princess arrives at the border for exit formalities before continuing upstream to Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia. Enjoy scenic views along the Mekong River. After immigration clearance, local cyclo drivers will take you on a city tour. Ride along the riverfront to the Royal Palace, where you can explore the Throne Hall, Moonlight Pavilion, and walk through beautiful gardens. Continue to the Silver Pagoda, home to Cambodia’s Emerald Buddha and a diamond-encrusted Maitreya Buddha. After a short break, visit the National Museum, featuring Cambodia’s largest collection of pre-Angkorian and Angkorian artifacts. Please place your checked luggage outside your suite before disembarkation at 5:00 PM at Phnom Penh Port, where you’ll bid farewell to the ship and crew. Onboard activity: Fruit Carving & Tropical Fruits Demonstration.

  • Guests are responsible for obtaining valid Vietnam & Cambodia visas.

  • Note: Cambodian visa can be arranged onboard (USD $50, subject to change). Vietnamese visa must be arranged in advance.

    • Children under 6 years old sharing a bed with parents receive an 80% discount off the adult rate.

    • Children from 6 to under 12 years old sharing a bed with parents receive a 40% discount off the adult rate.

    • Children from 12 years old and above are charged as adults.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellation is made more than 90 days before the departure date, an administrative fee (non-refundable) will be charged per guest. This fee cannot be transferred to a future trip.

  • If cancellation is made within 90 days of departure, the following penalties apply:

    • 90–61 days before departure: 50% of the total fare per guest.

    • 60–0 days before departure or no-show: 100% of the total fare per guest.
