International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City 2024 (ITE HCMC 2024)
International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City 2024 (ITE HCMC 2024) is expected to take place from September 5 to September 7 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center, attracting 500 exhibitors, heard a press conference held on April 11.
Addressing the event, Bui Thi Ngoc Hieu, deputy director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, underscored the importance of organizing the event aimed at strengthening connectivity among service providers and travel businesses, thereby further accelerating the recovery and development efforts of the entire tourism industry.
There will be 2D online booths to provide visitors with vivid images of tourism products and services showcased by exhibitors with the aim of helping international buyers to easily find suitable partners.
In particular, organizers are set to invite partners that are companies operating in the fields of entertainment tourism, sports tourism, cuisine, finance, and technology to participate in the event.
Furthermore, as many as 10,000 trade exchanges in the form of Business-to-Business (B2B) will provide both local and foreign firms with opportunities to strengthen connectivity.
Moreover, a series of seminars and forums will be held to offer valuable initiatives to speed up the digital transformation of Vietnamese tourism.
The event is also expected to attract inbound tourists to key and potential tourism markets such as Northeast Asia, the Southeast Asia region, Western Europe, North America, South America, as well as emerging markets like India, Pakistan, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.
