Saigontourist Travel greets Luxury cruise ship Spectrum of the Seas

Spectrum of the Seas, the world's most luxurious cruise ship, docked at Phu My port in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province on February 26, carrying 3,500 international passengers to start their two-day tour to tourist destinations in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City and Tien Giang.

Currently operated by Royal Caribbean International, Spectrum of the Seas was launched in 2019. It is 347 meters long and can carry a maximum of 4,900 passengers.

The tourists are mainly from the United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia and spent time visiting popular tourist destinations in Vung Tau City, including Ho Phap Pagoda, Tan Hoa Holy See, Hoa Long Market and Ancient houses locally.

Continue with heading towards Ho Chi Minh City to visit typical landmarks such as Independence Palace, Central Post Office, Municipal Theatre and Ben Thanh Market.

Foreign tourists also had the opportunity to participate in cooking classes, visit the Cu Chi Tunnels; take a leisurely bike ride to enjoy scenic views of rubber forests and rice fields before visiting the Long Phuoc tunnels.

Following these activities, they are expected today to visit local homes where the families produce the rice-paper, popcorn and coconut candy; taking a boat ride along one of the Mekong River’s main tributaries to an islet to visit some local homes and orchards where they can taste seasonal fruits and honey tea and enjoy a performance of traditional southern singing.

The cruise ship is expected to leave Phu My port at 19:00 today, February 27, concluding a two-day journey to Vietnam.
