On this scenic 1-hour boat trip, you will be introduced life along the banks of the Saigon River. You can go through the tunnels dug by resourceful guerrilla fighters to provide communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapons caches and living quarters during numerous conflicts. Finally, you will have a traditional Vietnamese lunch.

Itinerary

11:00 . Group gathering - Tour with guide
Our guide will meet you at your hotel’s lobby and bring you by car to our speedboat at Bach Dang pier.
11:20 . Depart to Cu Chi - Tour with guide
Then you will depart Saigon by speedboat. fresh tropical fruits and Vietnamese iced coffee (Ca phe sua da) is served, as your guide explains rural traditions and aspects of riverbank life.
12:50 . Lunch time - Tour with guide
Arrive Cu Chi tunnel. Enjoy a delicious traditional Vietnamese lunch by the river, consisting of authentic fried spring rolls, chicken and beef dishes and soup.
13:20 . Visit tunnel - Tour with guide
Watch a brief introductory ‘propaganda’ video to the Cu Chi area.
14:00 . Visit tunnel - Tour with guide
Explore the tunnel site, which includes weapon and booby trap exhibitions, navigating authentic Viet Cong tunnel, visiting different underground bunkers (kitchens, meeting rooms, ammunitions etc.), a firing range and much more. Try the local cassava root that sustained Viet Cong fighters for years.
15:30 - Tour with guide
Say goodbye to Cu Chi Tunnel and return to Ho Chi Minh City
17:00 . Tour finish - Tour with guide
Arrive back at Bach Dang’s pier. Les Rives staff will take you back to your hotel by car.

- Within 24 hours before departure time: 40% of the tour fare.
