VIETNAM PROMOTES TOURISM IN THE NORDIC MARKET – DENMARK

On 19 November 2025 in Copenhagen, two key events were held, highlighted by the signing of an MOU on tourism cooperation between Saigontourist Group – Vietnam Airlines – Nordic Travel Associates, and the announcement of Vietnam Airlines’ new Ho Chi Minh City – Copenhagen direct route. This milestone aims to strengthen two-way tourism, expand MICE opportunities, and attract more Nordic travelers to Vietnam.

The program connected over 50 Danish travel and service partners, fostering deeper collaboration in culture, cuisine, and tourism promotion.
At the event, Mr. Nguyễn Thành Lưu – CEO of Saigontourist Travel – shared the company’s 2025–2030 strategy, focusing on:

Expanding inbound long-stay, culture–heritage, golf, wellness, and Vietnam–Cambodia–Laos heritage tours
Enhancing outbound premium Nordic tours with direct HCMC–Copenhagen connections
Strengthening bilateral marketing and digital campaigns targeting Nordic travelers who value cultural experiences, slow travel, and green tourism
