Location
Nha Trang is a city in Khanh Hoa Province, 450km north of Ho Chi Minh City, 1,287 km south of Hanoi, 624 km south of Hue. The new airport is located some 20 km south of the city and serves only domestic destinations.

Main attractions: pristine beaches, off-shore islets, Cham towers, hot springs and some water sports: scuba diving, snorkeling, jet-skiing, windsurfing, parasailing, etc. Whale Island, 60km north of Nha Trang, is a little paradise for nature lovers with simple bungalows and aquatic activities.
Nha Trang is endowed by nature with deep, quiet and warm waters all the year-round, surrounded by archipelagoes, islands, mountains and white sand beaches - a wonderful and attractive tourist resort. With 6km white sand beach and emerald seawater, where hundreds of oceanic creatures inhabit, Nha Trang can be compared to the Mediterranean Sea. In the average temperature of 23°C, the warm sunlight shining on a line of a meticulously manicured stand of coconut trees, Australian pine, broad-leaved arjun and scarlet flamboyant, has made this coastal city the paradise of leisure and relaxation.
To the north of Nha Trang stands the Chong mount which looks like a wide-open hand over the sea. Far offshore, the Yen (Swallow) Island appears with lush green colours where salangane nests have been harvested for years to make the traditional "bird's nest" tonic and food. Hon Tre Island is 36km² and belongs to a group of islands located southwest of Nha Trang.
Nha Trang benefits from topographical advantages of the sea, islands, mountains, and deltas, with endless mountain ranges where a wide variety of animals and birds live. These natural features provide an ideal condition for tourists to practice various kinds of water sports as well as hiking and mountaineering. The magnificent coral makes it ideal for scuba diving and snorkeling.
